Designed with the modern woman in mind, Lulu & the Bear Jewelry draws its inspiration from organic elements mixed with geometric patterns found in nature. From roses growing from pods to delicate branches with delectable surprises, each piece is handmade in precious metals and feature semi-precious stones. Rooted deep in the aesthetic that jewelry should highlight the woman wearing it, Lulu & the Bear Jewelry pieces delicately accentuate the beauty of the wearer, and can be worn alone or layered.
Lulu & the Bear Jewelry is named for Chi-Lan’s two fabulous rescue chihuahuas, Lulu (white and brindle coquettish gal on the left) and ‘the bear’ Stella (black & white gorgeous looker on the right). Stella has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but we honor her with the work we do to make people and fur-babies smile. We donate a portion of our proceeds to help animals charities in need.
More about the designer, Chi-Lan Lieu:
Chi-Lan Lieu started her love affair with jewelry design in 2010 after she took a ‘hobby class’ in jewelry making. After finding she had a knack for filing metals, and making them bend to her will, she began thinking of better ways to make pieces universally appealing and easy to wear. Once she began really delving into what women want in their jewelry, Lulu & the Bear Jewelry was born.
In addition to being the lead designer, jewelry fabricator, and main lady in charge, Chi-Lan Lieu is one of America’s most sought after lifestyle, fashion, and tech experts. Chi-Lan serves as the in-house Lifestyle and Technology Expert for CBS’s hit daytime show, THE TALK, where she shares her expertise and solutions with viewers to create a life that’s simple, fun, and chic. She has contributed to GOOD MORNING AMERICA, ELLEN, THE MEREDITH VIEIRA SHOW, THE VIEW, HGTV, E!, among others. After years of helping women achieve affordable chic, Chi-Lan launched her affordable precious metal jewelry line with pieces that originate from and are inspired by nature.
Chi-Lan currently lives and works in Los Angeles to keep her rescue Chihuahua, Lulu, in the lifestyle to which she's become accustomed.
